The “21 Flemings” batch (2001 batch) Medicos of the Gov. Medical college Thrissur are renowned humanitarians. They formed the “Pratheeksha” Organization in the Gov. Medical college Thrissur in 2003, which supplies free medicines, clothes and such supports to the poor and helpless patients. Dr. Vimi was one of the founder member of this “Pratheeksha” Charitable organisation. On the unexpected death of Dr. Vimi, the active team members of the 21 Flemings batch discussed with Vimi's father and decided to form a Charitable organization in the name of Dr. Vimi. A charitable society was registered by the name “Dr. Vimi. P.S. Memorial Charitable society" on 12-08-2014, for uplifting the mental and physical abilities of the poor, helpless, differently abled and needy. All of the society members took an oath and wrote in the bylaw, “ All the services given by the society will be absolutely free."
